What’s the difference between a Maxwell Manor Event Night and a Club Night?
On both evenings, Maxwell Manor is fully open. All rooms are accessible, the bar is open, and music plays throughout the venue, creating the signature atmosphere our guests enjoy.
A Club Night offers the classic Maxwell Manor experience — a relaxed environment where guests can explore the space, socialise, and enjoy the venue at their own pace.
An Event Night builds on this experience with additional curated entertainment. Alongside the fully open venue, guests can enjoy live, unique performances, a dedicated DJ set, and a few extra surprises throughout the evening, creating a more immersive and theatrical atmosphere.
In short, the venue remains fully open on both nights — Event Nights simply add an extra layer of entertainment and spectacle.

Is there a difference between photography/videography hire and professional session rates?
Yes, there is a distinction between the two.
Photography and videography hire refers specifically to the use of the venue as a location for filming or still photography. This allows creatives to capture content within the space but does not include the full use of all specialist equipment and furnishings.
Professional session hire, however, includes access to the venue along with the use of all bespoke furniture, equipment, implements, toys, and other specialist features available within the space. This option is designed for professionals who require the full environment and facilities to conduct their sessions.
In short, professional session hire provides full access to the venue’s specialised equipment and furnishings, whereas photography and videography hire focuses on the use of the space primarily as a filming or photography location.

Do I have to be a member to attend events?

Yes, you must be a member to attend events hosted by Maxwell Manor. If it is a private party that is not hosted by us you do not need to be a member.

Can I bring a guest that is not a member?
​
No, sadly they will be refused entry if they do not have a membership.

Is there a licensed bar?
​
There is a fully licensed bar at all of our events.

Where can I park?
​
Parking is limited. For events there are local paid car parks close to the venue.

We are located on the outskirts of Chorley, Lancashire town centre.

Do you have to be experienced to attend events?
​
You do not need any experience to attend our events . There will be something for everyone and we are well versed with new attendees.

What is the dress code?

The dress code will depend on the event. All information will be on your ticket or event advertisement.

What time do events finish?

Events finish at 2am.

Are there lockers for my belongings?

Yes there are lockers for your belongings.

Are tickets refundable?

Sadly all tickets are non refundable.

What is the nearest hotel?

We would recomend staying at the Premier Inn Chorley North or Shaw Hill.
